| Description | Purity ~98.5% (HPLC). Bestatin is pseudo-dipeptide isolated from Streptomyces olivreticuli in 1976. Bestatin is potent aminopeptidase B inhibitor with no carboxypeptidase activity. Bestatin acts as an immunomodulator by activation of macrophages and T-lymphocytes. Bestatin also exhibits good antitumor activity and is under clinical investigation.
