| Description | The MCSP (Melanoma Associated Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of MCSP in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 0.156-10ng/ml Sensitivity: <0.094ng/ml Precision: Intra-Assay CV: <8% Inter-Assay CV: <10% Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to MCSP. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to MCSP. Streptavidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain MCSP, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color.
