| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). IL-8 (endothelial-derived) is a proinflammatory CXC chemokine that can signmal through the CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. It is secreted by monocytes and endothelial cells. IL-8 chemoattracts and activates neutrophils. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human IL-8, a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 77aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8.9kD (77aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
