| Description | Purity ~97% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). MIP-3 is a CC chemokine that signals through the CCR1 receptor. MIP-3 chemoattracts monocytes, resting T-lymphocytes and neutrophils, but does not chemoattract activated lymphocytes. Additionally, MIP-3 has been shown to inhibit colony formation of bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human MIP-3/CCL23, a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 99aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~11.3kD (99aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cell population using a concentration range of 10-50ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 2x10e4IU/mg.
