The mouse MIP-2 is a protein containing 73aa residues including the `RLR' motif common to the CXC chemokine family that bind to CXCR1 or CXCR2. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse MIP-2, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD Biological Activity: Determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intraCellular calcium (calcium flux) with human neutrophils.
