| Description | This monoclonal antibody binds the human CD4 antigen, a 55 kD glycoprotein involved in the recognition of class II Major Histocompatability Complex antigens (MHC-II)(1). CD4 is also the receptor for HIV. It is present on most T helper cells and normal thymocytes. The cytoplasmic portion of CD4 associated with the p56Ick tyrosine kinase. |
