| Product Name | IL18, Recombinant, Mouse, aa36-192, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). Interleukin 18 (IL-18), previously known as interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma)-inducing factor, is an activator of NK cells and a co-inducer of Th1 cytokines. IL-18 is produced from Kupffer cells, activated macrophages, keratinocytes, intestinal epithelial cells, osteoblasts, adrenal cortex cells and murine diencephalon. IL-18 was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa36-192 from mouse IL18, fused to His-tag, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~20.4kD (178aa, aa36-192 + His Tag), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Endotoxin: <1.0EU/1ug of protein AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MNFGRLHCTT AVIRNINDQV LFVDKRQPVF EDMTDIDQSA SEPQTRLIIY MYKDSEVRGL AVTLSVKDSK MSTLSCKNKI ISFEEMDPPE NIDDIQSDLI FFQKRVPGHN KMEFESSLYE GHFLACQKED DAFKLILKKK DENGDKSVMF TLTNLHQS |
