| Description | Purity >95% (SDS-PAGE). IL-37 (IL-1F7; IL-1H4) belongs to the IL-1 family of proteins. It binds to the interleukin-18 receptor (IL-18R) but not to the IL-1 receptor. It plays an important role as a link between innate and adaptive immunity. IL-37 is a new player in inflammatory and immune responses, mediated by the IL-18/IL-18R axis. It was shown to inhibit tumor growth. Sequence: Human IL-37 (aa 46-218) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. |
