| Product Name | IDS, Recombinant, Human, aa26-550, His-Tag (Iduronate 2-sulfatase Isoform, MPS2, SIDS) |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). IDS, as known as iduronate 2-sulfatase isoform, is a member of the highly conserved sulfatase family of enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of O-sulfate and N-salfate esters from a varity of substrates. This protein is required for the lysosomal degradation of the glycosaminoglycans (GAG) heparan sulfate and dermatan sulfate. It hydrolyzes the 2-sulfate group of the IDS units of the GAG. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa26-550 from human IDS, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~60.3kD (533aa), 50-70kD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.) Endotoxin: <1EU/1ug (determined by LAL method) AA |
