| Description | The Pro-endothelin 1 (Pro-ET1) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of Pro-ET1in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 0.871-50pg/ml Sensitivity: <0.469pg/ml Precision: Intra-Assay CV: <8% Inter-Assay CV: <10% Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Pro-ET1. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Pro-ET1. Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Pro-ET1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color.
