| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma and tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of canine clusterin (CLU) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 4.963ng/ml Range: 7.813-500ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of canine clusterin. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between canine clusterin and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with clusterin. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for clusterin. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated clusterin and clusterin in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of clusterin in the samples. |
