| Description | Purity ~90%. Human COX1, GenBank Accession No. NM_000962, a.a. 1-599 (end), with C-terminal FLAG-His-tag, MW=70.5kD, expressed in a baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Assay Description: Mixed various concentrations of enzyme in Assay buffer (100mM Tris-HCl pH 8,3uM EDTA) with 5uM Hematin for 10 minutes then added 100 M Ampliflu Red and 200uM arachidonic acid. Fluorescence (ex. 535 em. 590) was measured after 5 minutes at RT. Reaction volume was 100ul.
