| Description | Purified (~90%). Recombinant protein corresponding to aa570-756 of human LOXL4, fused to His-tag at C-terminal; expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~23kD Assay Conditions: Enzymatic activity was confirmed by an AmplexRed/Peroxidase coupling method using 1,5-diaminopentane as a substrate. Purified LOXL4 (0.25-1ng/ul) was incubated with 3mM 1,5 diaminopentane, 0.4mM AmplexRed and 0.2unit/ul peroxidase in 100ul of the assay buffer (1.2M urea, 50mM borate, pH 8.8) for 15 min at 30°C. Fluorescence intensity is measured every 7 min at 530ex/590em. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. |
