| Product Name | UCHL3, Recombinant, Human, aa1-230, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolases (UCHs) are a family of cysteine hydrolases that catalyze the hydrolysis of amides, esters and thioesters of the C-terminus of ubiquitin. UCH-L3 is a member of the lower molecular weight group of UCHs involved in the hydrolysis of small C-terminal derivatives of ubiquitin that form non-specifically during the process of protein ubiquitinylation. UCHL3 play a role in the regulation of neuronal development and spermatogenesis and have been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-230 from human UCHL3, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~28.3kD (250aa, aa1-230 + NT His Tag) Biological Activity: Specific activity: >3000 pmole/min/ug. Measured by the hydrolysis of Ubiquitin-AMC at pH 8.0, at 37°C.
