VEGF stimulates endothelial cell growth, angiogenesis, and capillary permeability. Murine VEGF is a 39kD homodimeric protein consisting of two 165 amino acid polypeptide chains. Source: E. coli Molecular Weight: ~39kD Endotoxin: ≤0.1ng/ug Biological Activity: Determined by the mitogenic activity on human umbilical vein endothelial cells and bovine aortic endothelial cells.
