To enable bacterial expression of rhGDF-5 we removed the N-terminal sequence Ala-Pro-Leu-Thr and added the Lys. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human GDF-5 expressed in E. coli. Biological Activity: The biological activity of the protein was measured by induction of alkaline phosphatase activity in ATDC5 cells. The EC50 is 30-50nM. |
