| Description | Purified (~30%). Phosphodiesterase 7B, a cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase, has been shown to affect cAMP-mediated neural activity and cAMP metabolism in the brain. PDE7B activity is inhibited by dipyridamole, IBMX, and SCH51866. At least three splice variants have been isolated for PDE7B from rats and they show tissue specific expression patterns. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa108-446 from rat PDE7B, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system. Molecular Weight: ~65kD Specific Activity: ~324pmol/min/ug Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. |
