| Description | Purified by cation/anion affinity and gel exclusion chromatography to 95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced. Recombinant HIV-1clade E (Thai) gag p24 is a cytosolic protein produced in the Baculovirus Expression System. Quantitative determination of the protein was based on a sandwich capture ELISA using a qualified p24 preparation as a reference. The capture ELISA is sensitive to 1pg of p24; 1ng/ml of p24 shows an O.D. of 1.0 at 450nm under standard ELISA conditions. Specificity: This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and to rabbit and human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and In-Vitro HIV-1 Diagnostics. Other applications have not been tested. |
