| Description | Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE). BTLA is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the CD28 family of T cell costimulatory molecules. BTLA functions as a coinhibitor on activated T cells and on B cells and dendritic cells. The extracellular domain (ECD) of this Ig superfamily protein contains one V-type Ig-like domain, which interacts with HVEM. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa31-157 from human CD272, fused to the N-terminus of the Fc region of mouse IgG2a, expressed in CHO cells.
