| Description | Sample Type: Serum and plasma Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of fish free tri-iodothyronine indes(FT3) concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 1.9pg/ml Range: 10-160pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of fish FT3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between fish FT3 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to FT3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Biotin-conjugated FT3. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between FT3 (Standards or samples) and Biotin-conjugated FT3 with the pre-coated antibody specific for FT3.
