| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of rabbit free tri-iodothyronine indes concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 2pmol/l Range: 2-32pmol/L Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit FT3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit FT3 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to FT3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Biotin-conjugated FT3. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between FT3 (Standards or samples) and Biotin-conjugated FT3 with the pre-coated antibody specific for FT3. The more amount of FT3 in samples, the less antibody bound by Biotin-conjugated FT3. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells |
