| Description | 5'-NT is widely distributed in the liver, biliary system and various organs and tissues. The enzyme activity of 5'-NT in serum increased (2 ~ 6) mainly in the biliary system diseases, such as obstructive jaundice, primary and secondary liver cancer, and it usually parallel with the activity changes of ALP. Sample Type: Animal serum, plasma, tissue Intended Use: This kit can be used for detection of 5'-Nucleotidase (5'-NT) activity in animal serum, plasma, tissue and other samples. Test Principle: 5'-NT can catalyze the hydrolysis of Adenosine -5- phosphate and produce adenosine and inorganic phosphorus. 5'-NT activity can be calculated by detecting the content of inorganic phosphorus. The influence of other enzymes can be inhibited by adding inhibitor.
