| Product Name | Cd40lg, Recombinant, Mouse |
| Description | Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). CD40 Ligand (CD40L/TRAP) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF superfamily of ligands. Natually, CD40L is a membrane-bound protein, but proteolytically cleaved 15-18kD soluble forms of CD40L are also fully active. CD40L plays an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of B-cells, and is critical for immunoglobulin (Ig) class switching. Recombinant murine CD40 Ligand is a soluble 18kD protein containing 149aa residues comprising the receptor binding TNF-like domain of CDE40L. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse Cd40lg, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~16.4kD Endotoxin: <0.1ng/ug Biological Activity: ED50 is <0.1ug/ml determined by its ability to induce TNF-a and MIP-1a production by murine splenocytes. |
