| Description | Purity ~80% by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining. Purified using Ni2+/NTA-agarose. N-terminal His6-tagged, recombinant full-length human PKC iota expressed in Sf21 cells. Specific Activity: ~800U/mg, where one unit of PKC iota activity is defined as 1nmol phosphate incorporated into 50uM PKCe Substrate Peptide (ERMRPRKRQGSVRRRV) per minute at 30°C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM. Applications: Suitable for use in Kinase Assays. Other applications have not been tested. MS Tyrptic Fingerprint: Confirmed identity as PKC iota with 43% amino acid coverage of the translated sequence. |
