| Product Name | AcCoA Acetyltransferase 2, Recombinant, Human, NT, T7-Tag, aa1-397 |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Acetyl-Coenzyme A acetyltransferase 2 is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism. Reported patients with ACAT2 deficiency have shown severe mental retardation and hypotonus. The ACAT2 gene shows complementary overlapping with the 3 prime region of the TCP1 gene in both mouse and human. These genes are encoded on opposite strands of DNA, as well as in opposite transcriptional orientation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human AcCoA Acetyltransferase 2, a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing aa1-397, fused to T7 tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~41.3kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Inhibition Assays and Mass spectrometry. |
