| Description | Angiotensin II (AngII) BioAssay™ ECL Kit (Human) is a quantitative, in vitro, competitive inhibition immunoassay (ECL) suitable for use in Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Test Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Angiotensin II. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Angiotensin II (AngII) and unlabeled Angiotensin II (AngII) (in standards or samples) for limited binding sites on the pre-coated antibody. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Angiotensin II (AngII) in the sample.
