| Description | Highly Purified (~95%). Tissue factor (TF) is the membrane receptor for coagulation factors VII and VIIa and is a cell-surface initiator of coagulation. It is the major molecule of this type and is critical for controlling hemostasis, thrombosis, and inflammation. TF is not generally present in or on cells within the vasculature, but following vascular injury, blood can come into contact with TF expressed by extravascular cells, resulting in activation of the coagulation cascade. Source: Human Tissue factor, expressed in Sf9 cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Not suitable for use in ELISA or other applications where native protein is required. |
