| Description | Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE). AITRL, a member of the TNF superfamily, is expressed in endothelial cells, and signals through the AITR receptor. AITRL regulates T-cell proliferation and survival, and effectuates the interaction between T lymphocytes and endothelial cells. The AITRL gene codes for a type II transmembrane protein comprised of 177aa, including a 28aa cytoplasmic region, a 21aa transmembrane domain and a 128aa extracellular domain. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 127aa residues from human AITRL, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~14.4kD Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to stimulate IL-8 production by human PBMC using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml. Note: Results may vary with PBMC donors.
