| Product Name | ACAD8, Recombinant, Human, aa23-415, His-Tag (Isobutyryl-CoA Dehydrogenase, Mitochondrial) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). ACAD8 is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family of enzymes that catalyze the dehydrogenation of acyl-CoA derivatives in the metabolism of fatty acids or branch chained amino acids. The protein is a mitochondrial enzyme that functions in catabolism of the branched-chain amino acid valine. Defects in this gene are the cause of isobutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa23-415 from human ACAD8, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~45.1kD (416aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
