| Product Name | Enolase, beta, Recombinant, Human, aa1-434, His-Tag (ENO3, MSE) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Beta-enolase, also known as ENO3, is one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in skeletal muscle cells in the adult. ENO3 play a role in converting phosphoglyceric acid to phosphenolpyruvic acid in the glycolytic pathway. Mutations in its gene can be associated with metabolic myopathies that may result from decreased stability of the enzyme. Recombinant human ENO3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-434 from human Beta-Enolase, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~49kD (454aa, aa1-434 + NT His Tag) Biological Activity: Specific activity: >1.5units/ml. One unit will convert 1.0umole of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenol pyruvate/minute at pH 7.5 at 25°C. AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MAMQKIFARE ILDSRGNPTV EVDLHTAKGR FRAAVPSGAS TGIYEALEL |
