The E. coli derived 20kD recombinant protein is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, containing the HIV-1 p24 gag immunodominant regions, aa3-190. Recombinant HIV nef is fused to beta-galactosidase (114kD). Specificity: Recognizes all sera of HIV-I infected individuals. Applications: Suitable for us in ELISA, Western Blot and an excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems. |
