| Product Name | ALDOC, Recombinant, Human, aa1-364 (Fructose bisphosphate aldolase C) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). ALDOC, also as known as fructose bisphosphate C, is a member of the class 1 fructose-biphosphate aldolase family. This protein is a ubiquitous enzyme that catalyzes the reversible aldol cleavage of fructose-bisphosphate and fructose 1-phospate to digydroxyacetone phosphate and either glyceral-dehyde-3-phosphate or glyceraldegyde, respectively. It is expressed specifically in the hippocampus and Purkinje cells of the brain. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-364 from human ALDOC expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~39.4kD (364aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF AA |
