| Description | Sample Type: Serum Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of rat 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1,25 DHVD3) concentrations in serum. Sensitivity: 250fmol/L Range: 1000-5000fmol/L Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rat 1,25 DHVD3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat 1,25 DHVD3 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated 1,25 DHVD3 Hapten. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP-conjugated 1,25 DHVD3 Hapten and 1,25 DHVD3 in samples.
