| Description | Purity ≥ 80% by SDS-PAGE. Human IGF1R (GenBank Accession No. NP_000875). GST fusion protein containing the Mr 46 kD cytoplasmic domain of the b-subunit of the human Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Receptor Kinase, residues 930-1337, expressed in a baculovirus expression system. Specific Activity: ~100 nmol/min/mg at 25°C using poly(Glu:Tyr) 4:1 substrate. Reaction conditions are 50mM Tris, pH 7.5, 5mM MgCl2, 5mM MnCl2, 1mM DTT, 250uM ATP. The kinase concentration was 0.5-1uM. Applications: Enzyme kinetics, autophosphorylation, and phosphorylation of target substrates. |
