| Description | Lysate. PKLR is a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the production of phohsphoenolpyruvate from pyruvate and ATP. Defects in this enzyme, due to gene mutations or genetic variations, are the common cause of chronic hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia (CNSHA or HNSHA). Source: Partial length protein corresponding to of PKLR, fused to GST-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
