| Product Name | DDT, Recombinant, Human, aa1-118, His-Tag (D-dopachrome tautomerase) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). DDT is an enzyme that catayzes the tautomerization of D-dopachrome to give 5,6-dihydroxyindole (DHI). This protein belongs to the family of lyases, specifically the carboxy-lyases, which cleave carbon-carbon bonds. It shares a homologous aa sequence (33% identical) with the macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) and possesses similar tautomerase activity. In addition, it may functions a proinflammatory cytokine. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-118 of human DDT, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~14.8kD AA |
