| Description | The Interferon gamma (IFN-gamma) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of IFN-gamma in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 15.625-1000pg/ml Sensitivity: <9.375pg/ml Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to IFN-gamma. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to IFN-gamma. Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain IFN-gamma, Biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color.
