| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma and tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of human CXC-chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 3.603pg/ml Range: 46.875-3000pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human CXCL16. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human CXCL16 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CXCL16 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CXCL16 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CXCL16 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells.
