This item detects phosphatidylinositol (4,5) bisphosphate 5-phosphatase, A (PIB5PA) also known as PIPP (proline-rich inositol polyphosphate 5-phosphatase). PIB5PA functions as a negative regulator of PI3-kinase signalling events that promote neurite elongation and survival, and is thought to regulate the level of inositol and phosphatidylinositol polyphosphates at membrane ruffles. |
