| Description | Programmed cell death 4 (PDCD4) encodes a tumor suppressor protein whose expression is lost in progressed carcinomas of lung, breast, colon, and prostate. The expression of PDCD4 gene is strongly induced during apoptosis in a number of cell types. It is modulated by cytokines in natural killer and T cells. Location: 19 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human PDCD4 Applications: Peptide is used for blocking the activity of PDCD4 antibody (P3120-68). It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western Blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37?C. Buffer is PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. |
