This item specifically recognises a unique epitope shared by the intermediate filament keratins, cytokeratin 7 and cytokeratin 17, a 54kDa type II basic cytokeratin, and 46kDa type I acidic cytokeratin respectively. Cytokeratins are located in the intracytoplasmic cytoskeleton of epithelial tissues and their neoplasms, including the lungs, ovary and breast.
