| Description | Mouse Monoclonal [clone 4E1] (IgG3) to Human Chymotrypsin. Specificity: Human chymotrypsin-C, also known as chymotrypsin or caldecrin. Chymotrypsin is a 239 amino acid ~30 kD protease with an additional 13 amino acid propeptide region and a 16 amino acid signal peptide. Variations in the CTRC gene has been associated with susceptibility to hereditary, pancreatitis, a disease characterized by pancreatic inflammation and destruction of the parenchyma. |
