This item recognises tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI), also known as Lipoprotein-associated coagulation inhibitor (LACI). TFPI is a protease inhibitor that helps to maintain haemostasis by inhibiting factor Xa and the Factor VIIa/Tissue factor (TF) complex. TFPI is also reported to associate with lipoproteins in plasma. |
