| Description | Purified (~50%). Phosphodiesterase 1C is a cAMP/cGMP dual-specific, calcium/calmodullin-dependent phosphodiesterase. PDE1C has been shown to affect vascular smooth muscle proliferation and atherosclerosis, insulin secretion regulation, spermatozoa development, and erectile dysfunction. At least five PDE1C isoforms have been reported, the expression of which are regulated in a tissue/cell-specific manner. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa2-634 from human PDE1C, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in a Baculovirus-infected Sf9 cell expression system. Molecular Weight: ~98kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. |
