| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). NMT2, also known as glycylpeptide N-tetradecan-oyltransferases 2, is cytoplasmic protein that belong to the NMT family of proteins. The proteins in this familiy catalyze the addition of a myristoyl group to the N-terminal glycine residue of eukaryotic, fungal and viral proteins. They are primarily detected in heart, gut, kidney, liver and placenta. Recombinant human NMT2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminal domain, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
