| Description | The Magnetic Bead Separator, 12+12 consists of a clear Plexiglas block with 12x extra strong permanent magnets for a fast magnetic separation (<2 min) with 1.5ml and 2.0ml tubes. With 48 tube positions including 24 positions for magnetic separation (12x for 1.5ml and 12x for 2.0ml tubes). The Magnetic Bead Separator is intended for magnetic separation of MagDetect™ beads from liquid samples for isolation and purification of nucleic acids and proteins, immunoprecipitation, immunoassays (ELISA), cell sorting, and purification of biomolecules. Separators are designed for optimal magnetic bead separation in terms of speed and bead pellet positioning, as well as stability and are user friendly. The neodymium (NdFeB, NIB, or Neo) magnets used for the separators are the strongest permanent magnets made.
