| Description | The rat IL-2 BioAssay™ ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of rat IL-2. Sample Type: Serum and plasma (rat IL-2 conc. is pretty low in normal serum/plasma, it may not be detected in this assay). Cell culture supernatants. Intended Use: For use in quantitative protein detection, establishing normal range and validation of antibody array results. Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of IL-2 is typically <0.1ng/ml. Range: 0.1-30ng/ml Specificity: Recognizes rat IL-2. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: rat CINC-2, CINC-3, CNTF, Fractalkine, IL-1a, IL-1b, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, GM-CSF, IFN-g, Leptin, Lix, MCP-1, MIP-3a, b-NGF, TIMP-1, TNF-a. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs an antibody specific for IL-2 coated on a 96-well plate.
