| Description | The Acylated Ghrelin (A-GHR) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of A-GHR in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 15.625-1000pg/ml Sensitivity: <9.375pg/ml Precision: Inter-Assay CV: <10% Intra-Assay CV: <8% Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to A-GHR. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to A-GHR. Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain A-GHR, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color.
